Ehhh This Battle was so good!! Definitely one of my favorites along with Itsuki vs Raido and Subaru vs Hahajima!! I was kinda worried about how long the battles would last since this anime is not going to have more than 50 episodes I think and i didn't want them to feel rushed, but they did great with this one so now I have high expectations :)

Btw I wish we could transfer cards in the real game as well or at least exchange them lol

At this point the principal doenst even care wich rules he'll break anymore XD, on a side note heck tanzanite is one hella OP card as well as the crystal from tsubasa, but is it that easy gaining the combo of storm ward?

in the mobile game, Tsubasa's deck is currently one of the stronger new decks recently introduced bcos they buffed Wingy, Diamond Master, and Jewel Shrine, and give it synergy with a strong legendary from previous expansion.

the Diamond Master buff in particular is massive bcos instead of destroying only follower she attacks, she can destroy ALL ENEMY FOLLOWERS when attacking. not only you can just attack enemy's face to clear their board (unless they have Ward follower ofc), this renders some type of protection worthless. In particular, effects that make your follower can't be target for attacking like Ambush or "Can't be attack" keywords like the one Tanzanite Convictioner has is useless against mobile game's Diamond Master.

all the changes to the cards overall makes the deck plays very differently in mobile game, where it's more like a combo deck where you gather your pieces to do one big tempo swing and burst damage in a turn, whereas in the anime it's more midrangey-tempoish.

bare in mind Tsubasa's deck in the mobile game has not yet received some anime cards (Ruby Falcon, Tuorquoise Sister, Azurite Maiden, and Amethyst Lion) so the deck may only get even stronger. right now the only thing holding it back from being true tier 1 in the mobile game is draw consistency so it relies on having good starting hand. If those cards can somehow fix that issue, the deck would undoubtedly becomes a true powerhouse.

actually they buffed the hell out of Tsubasa's cards in the game, they're actually better in game than in the anime

ah Elana, my beloved. a haven archetype so succesfull and popular they reprinted it at some point after they introduced Rotation format (basically a format where you only play cards from 5 latest expansions, this is also the definitive e-sports format of the game), where she then had to be nerfed bcos she got insane highroll potential during it when going second.

Tanzanite Convictioner is LOADED AF!!! you wanna have a very annoying follower to remove which you can buff with your main wincon? oh you also want it to be the buff activator as well? here it is, both in a single card.

as for Conviction Prayer, this one is definitely reminiscent of a similar spell card called Angelic Smite. 4pp banishes an enemy follower or amulet, then both players draw a card. ConPray is weaker in how it has the 5 DEF limitation for its target and being unable to target enemy amulet, but the fact it also heals a.k.a activating Elana's Prayer is good enough to fill the gap.

that was a neat reference to Paradise Lost, Lucifer's special attack in Granblue Fantasy. raining down light beams of destruction is simple but effective way to smite heathens afterall.

btw, when I call Elana my beloved I really meant it. she's basically my Havencraft waifu, and I was lucky enough to get her leader skin :D (only swapping it to Saren on occasion since Saren is my Priconne waifu)
